New Year, New Fun!

With the start of 2011, we are so excited to try some new fun things at Be Beep! Our first new venture is our very own YouTube Channel! Believe it or not, YouTube is the 4th largest site on the Internet and millions of videos are uploaded each day! We wanted to join in on the fun so we decided to start our own channel! Please keep in mind that we are amateur videographers and there will definitely be a learning curve as we go along! You can "subscribe" to our channel to view our latest videos (you may also view them without having to subscribe). We will be posting videos of product reviews/demonstrations, interviews, and much more! We would love to hear from you on what you like, what you don't like, or what you would like to see, so please let us know!

Our first video is an interview with Larry Hotaling, president of Hotaling Imports, which is a company that we absolutely love! They distribute the Papo knights that are located around the counter at our store and also some of the beautiful dollhouses and castles we carry. In this video he is showing us a new line from his company called Djeco, which is a company based out of Paris, France that makes gorgeous puzzles and art kits. We received many of these items shortly before Christmas but there are some new ones we will be getting in this year! In this video, he also describes the Hotaling line of Papo figurines and does a much better job than any of us ever could! If you are not familiar with this line of figurines, stop by the store to have a look at them because they are so cool!

The next fun and exciting thing we have going on is "Facebook Deals." We are really excited to be participating in this because it is not available to all businesses. Here's how it works: 

• On your mobile phone, visit touch.facebook.com or on your iPhone, launch the Facebook app! 
• Touch "Places" and check in to your local stores to redeem great deals! It's very easy and you receive some great deals for checking in, so why not? 

Facebook will also let you know about deals that are near you so check it out next time you're shopping! You never know what you will find!

Our first Facebook deal will be on Thursday January 20! Simply "check in" to Be Beep a toy shop on your mobile phone to receive a $5 gift certificate! No purchase necessary! Make sure you tell all your friends as well!
